Can we enter as teams for the timed run?

This is an individual entry system, but we welcome same households and partners running together whilst adhering to government COVID guidelines and the advice given on our Covid event information pdf

What's the fee for entry?

Festival entry is £25.00. You are entitled to book the following activities within this price:

x1 pre-booked timed run (5/10/20km distance)

x1 Pre-booked yoga session

x1 Pre-booked running workshop

x1 Pre-booked hiking workshop

How much training do I need to do for the timed run?

We have set up our running and hiking events to be inclusive of all abilities. When scheduling your activities please take note of the estimated completion times

What will be at the festival locations?

Within the event site there will be a festival village made up of dedicated zones. Each zone is subject to change at this time (due to restrictions around Coronavirus). These zones will likely include; Pre-booked Car parking, Toilet facilities, Hot drinks & Snacks vendor, Checkin and bag drop area, Demo pool collection area, holding areas for activities (Running & Hiking) and sheltered areas for pre-booked talks & yoga sessions.


*Note that the car park and bag drop areas are to be used at your own risk and are not secure.

When do I get my race number?

Race numbers will be provided to you ahead of the event via post. Should you not receive your race number ahead of the event date, one will be available for you at the event registration area.

Where do I park at the festival?

There will be limited parking available on the festival site during the event. Please confirm if you will need parking when you buy your ticket.

How do I get to the festival?

How will my time be recorded?

Our ‘Timed runs’ are not races, but a timing solution will be issued and information available post-event regarding checking your time for the run.

What time will the timed run start?

We will be conducting rolling start times throughout the day. You will need to pre register your preferred start time based on your ability when purchasing your ticket through the sched app. 

Can I bring along friends, family and supporters?

Due to the current situation surrounding Coronavirus we would ask that only those taking part in the activities for the day attend the event.

Is there water along the run route?

There will be a water stop on the 20km trail run only – you will be expected to bring your own water container. Please ensure that you bring adequate hydration and nutrition for the activities you are participating in.

Where can I see the run and hiking routes?

Each timed run route will be released six weeks before the event and available via the event page.

What is the minimum age of participants?

You must be over the age of 16 to enter.

What are the Terms and Conditions of the Salomon Festival?


You are eligible for a full refund (minus the online booking fee) within the 14 days cooling off period from the day of booking.


Note: The cooling off period does not apply where a booking is made within 14 days of the event date.


Any withdrawals after the 14 days cooling off period will not be eligible for a refund.


Should you need to request a refund due to having Covid-19 at the time of the event – please email us.


Route Amendment and Cancellation Policy

Salomon will host the best and safest events possible. In the event of circumstances beyond our control, which result in potentially unsafe conditions Salomon Events will either:


1 ) Amend the run course to make the event safe. or

2) Where conditions cannot be made safe, cancel the event.


Where the event is modified under condition 1 above, no refund will be applicable. In the event of a cancellation under condition 2 above, competitors will be offered a Salomon product to the value of the event entry.


Should we need to cancel or postpone the event inline with Government advice around Covid-19 we will issue immediate refunds (minus the online booking fee) to all registrants.


Where possible, we shall give at least 24 hours notice to any potential amendment or cancellation.


No refunds will be offered if cancellation is due to an unforeseeable natural disaster or ‘act of God’.


Safety requirements

If you’re still on a run course after two hours, a marshal may ask you to leave the course or require you to wear a head torch in order to finish the course.


You must be 16 years old and over to enter the timed run.
