Leo Oppenheim (Multi-discipline coach specialising in balance and core stability)

Leo facilitates yoga, movement, Breathwork and Coldwater therapy

Leo Oppenheim is Head Trainer of Yoga at @bloklondon Manchester - an award winning fitness studio. He is also an @allbirds @yogi.bare and @tenzing Ambassador. Leo facilitates yoga, movement, Breathwork and Coldwater therapy as well as slack-lining, Balance boarding and skating. A multi-discipline instructor specialising in balance and core stability. He incorporates a variety of techniques to harness the full power of your breathing and increase strength, conditioning, and focus.

Sofie Lindevall (DJ, Marathon Runner & Voices Radio Resident)


Voices Radio resident Sofie Lindevall has made soundtracking sunny weekends her specialty with her monthly show Footnotes. Orbiting genres like disco, soul, funk, house and all places in between, she loves digging out a hidden gem as much as celebrating a classic cut. When not on the radio you can find Sofie DJing around East London, recently filling up dance floors at venues such as Oval Space, HWK, Hackney Bridge and Cafe 1001.

Matt Bagwell is a transformational coach and endurance athlete, based in Shoreham-by-Sea in the UK. Matt Bagwell is an Oxygen Advantage™ Master Breathwork Instructor, Coach and endurance athlete, living in Shoreham-by-Sea, UK. Matt has taught people all over the world how to use their breath to improve physical and mental performance, including World Champion Team GB triathletes, Paralympic marathon runners, football teams, companies and thousands of attendees of events and classes. His practice is grounded in the science of the body and mind, and his classes are accessible to everyone.   Amongst Matt's breathwork sessions, he'll be running a special Oxygen Advantage x The Movement Project Simulated High Altitude Training workshop where you'll learn patterns of breathwork to develop and enhance respiratory performance over time. If you want to improve your running efficiency whatever your running goals are, this is one not to be missed.

Ross Cunningham is a runs a website called Mountains Mend Minds to promote the mental health benefits of hillwalking. He is also a Mountains for the Mind ambassador, a member of the Scottish Parliament's Cross Party Group on Mental Health, and was awarded Scotland's Media/Online Walking Champion in 2021!



Mohson Stars (Founder T & Cs Track And Core community & DJ)


Mohson Stars has been djing for over 10 years and currently runs K / D Keep It Deep which is a podcast, party, blog & radio show nurturing and exposing underground electronic music. Mohson feels very comfortable playing sunday early morning ambient downtempo radio sets, to Friday night super fun disco, funk and soul shake outs to after hours extended house, garage and techno sets. Vinyl is his preferred medium of choice and high levels of engagement and energy are also evident in his sets. Djs can dance and Mohson loves to get animated and locked into the groove engaging with the crowd expect strong energy moments and lots of shapes on the dance floor.

Nick Kewshaw (Founder, Impact Marathons)

Nick creates trail running events that catalyse change, empower communities and unleash the power of running to tackle the UN Global Goals. In 2015, he created Impact Marathons: with the goal to be known for creating the most powerful running events in the world, catalysing real, lasting impact in communities.

Nick brings communities to life through life-changing projects, educate and inspire people, push them to their limits and show the world just what is possible when we unite over the power of trail running. In 5 years, he has organised 13 races, driving $1.2m to incredible charities all over the world. He has delivered races in Nepal, Kenya, Guatemala, Rwanda, Malawi and, this year, has welcomed Jordan into the series!



Neil Frankel (Co-Founder, the movement project)

Movement Coach

Neil is a movement teacher, leader, tennis coach, accidental ultra marathon runner and shonky guitar player. 

His movement journey includes skateboarding, surfing, martial arts and yoga which has rooted an exploratory and playful approach to his practise. This journey hasn’t been plain sailing – he spent 18 months with an acute back injury that forced him to revaluate what moving meant to him.

Neil is a recent convert to trail running. 

Neil's aim? Working to be the best person I can by soaking up all the good stuff that’s out there, going inwards to reflect and connecting with incredible people & nature. Saying “Yes, why not?” has helped me do this more and more.



Simon James (Founder of Run the Wild)

In 2013, Simon founded one of the first dedicated trail running adventure companies – Run the Wild. He’s an International Mountain Leader, mountain running guide and all round trail running addict! 

He loves the outdoors and sharing his passion with others, whether it be guiding trips on Kilimanjaro and working on charity projects, to assessing Gold Duke of Edinburgh candidates. 

Simon is a qualified International Mountain Leader, Trail Running Guide and UKA Coach in Running Fitness as well as a Member of the Explorers Club. 



Emma Yoxall (Adventure Blogger & Outdoor Advocate)

Emma is trail runner, hiker, cyclist, paddle boarder, kayaker & wild swimmer! A passionate adventurer & explorer, Emma is a big advocate for women in the outdoors, a successful blogger and Salomon Ambassador.

Your most common questions, answered.

At this year's festival you'll pick one of three trail races to take part in. There's a short (5km), medium (11km) or long distance (22km) race to choose from. These are fully marked, fully timed professionally organised trail races and include quality aid stations, a finishers medal, finish line beer & nutrition, secure bag drop area, huge prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, free race photography & online results.

Running alongside the trail races, and setting off at the same time & place, this year we are introducing two hiking challenges. These are fully marked, fully supported routes, with refreshment stations on the way around, and finishers medals, which start and finish at the festival site. You'll hike either 5km or 11km around The Chiltern Hills, before returning to the festival site to enjoy all the entertainment and inspiration it has to offer. 

Included in the price of your ticket is full full access to the Salomon Festival by Love Trails festival village & main stage, with a carefully curated programme of wellness. talks, workshops, guided runs, music, DJ sets, films and more running throughout the day & night on Saturday September 10th. New for 2022, this year's festival is being organised "by Love Trails". Love Trails is a collective of trail running and music festival pioneers, adventure seekers and expert party starters and curators. Founders of Love Trails Festival, the Love Trails crew are bringing their signature festival energy and vibe to this year's Salomon Festival. Also new for 2022, we are introducing three professionally organised trail races & two hiking challenges, all taking place on the morning of Saturday 10th September. This year, you can also expect: hot showers, overnight camping, more DJ sets and music festival vibes, and an elevated wellness programme running alongside all the talks, workshops and a carefully curated food & drinks experience.

Getting to Salomon Festival by Love Trails is super easy! This year's festival is located at Town Farm, Newground Road, Aldbury, (Near Tring), Hertfordshire. If you're travelling by car, you can take advantage of the free parking available at the festival site. The closest train station to the festival site is Tring railway station on the West Coast Main Line, connected to London Euston direct in 39mins. From the train station, the festival site is a short & simple 15-20mins walk away. If you need to take a taxi, we can recommend local firm Tring Cabs / Cabs4U (01442 620 620)
